We're two expats living in Europe who share this problem firsthand — watching elderly family members struggle to navigate busy airports alone.

A lot of travellers turn to wheelchair assistance as a workaround, not because they need it, but because it's the only reliable way to get help through a large airport. This puts pressure on a service that exists for people who genuinely cannot manage without it.

The Travel Companion is our attempt to offer a better alternative — connecting travellers on the same route so no one has to face a busy airport alone, and those who truly need wheelchair assistance can access it without the wait.
